Lindsay Duncan maintains a diverse trial practice focusing on the defense of professional claims against lawyers, banks, broker dealers, physicians, long-term care facilities, and hospitals. Lindsay also represents her clients’ business, professional, and personal interests before various appellate courts and professional licensing boards.

Obtained dismissal of institutional client in $1.2 million medical malpractice claim alleging negligent care and treatment during organ donation process.

Obtained dismissal of institutional client in $5 million federal discrimination claim alleging disparate medical care and treatment on the basis of race.

Obtained dismissal of medical emergency transport client in $950,000 negligence claim alleging failure to properly asses patient.

Achieved positive resolution for large medical group in $3.8 million premises liability claim alleging negligent care and maintenance of parking area.

Defense award in arbitration of lawsuit involving alleged legal malpractice.

Secured dismissal of all claims against attorney-client pursuant to Oregon’s Anti-SLAPP statute

Secured reversal of administrative order on interlocutory appeal against the FDIC.

Represents national broker dealer against claims in federal and state court alleging violation of Oregon securities laws.

Represents bank CFO in federal regulatory proceedings.
