Aaron defends complex civil litigation cases with emphasis on medical and dental malpractice, personal injury, wrongful death, and general liability. Aaron has tried and arbitrated cases in Oregon and Washington. Aaron routinely represents physicians, dentists, physical therapists, nurses, and other healthcare providers before professional regulatory and licensing boards in both Oregon and Washington. Aaron also provides legal counsel to medical clinics and advises healthcare providers on health law issues such as privacy, HIPAA, HITECH, Stark Law, and the Anti-Kickback statute. Aaron also counsels medical providers and clinics on practice management issues, contractual disputes, and drafts and negotiates contracts. Aaron has served as Hart Wagner’s HIPAA Privacy and Security Officer since 2014.
