Karen O’Kasey and Donna Lee Obtain Defense Verdict in Case Against Anesthesiologist

Following a thirteen-day trial in Benton County Circuit Court, attorneys Karen O’Kasey and Donna Lee obtained a defense verdict on behalf of their client, an anesthesiologist, in a medical malpractice case.

The plaintiff alleged that a negligent administration of a specialized anesthetic during a cesarean section caused a permanent spinal cord injury seeking $13M in damages. Following deliberations, the jury returned a verdict in favor of the defense.
