Mike Wiswall Obtains Defense Verdict in Medical Malpractice Suit

Mike Wiswall recently obtained a defense verdict on behalf of a general surgeon and his clinic following a jury trial in Benton County Circuit Court. The Plaintiff sought more than $3M based on allegations that the surgeon negligently cut the nerve to his voice box and caused other injuries during a cervical exploration for hyperparathyroidism. The jury returned with a unanimous verdict in favor of the defendants after a four day trial.
